following the discovery of chemically
induced redaction as a means and method
for modifying thermogenic drawings,
i introduced folding, abrading, scoring,
and scratching the recording paper
substrate into my working vocabulary.
permanence was not the primary
locus of these investigations.
transient states of being had
moved to the front burners
of my creative interest.
